This program is for youth who are 13 to 18 years old.
Money Matters: Make it Count℠ is a community-based program that utilizes interactive activities and exercises to help participants learn basic money management skills that can lead to financial independence. This program is funded by the Charles Schwab Foundation and delivered through the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA).

Since the program was first implemented in 2004, it has reached more than 1 million youth in BGCA. The Ambassador program has awarded more than 185 college scholarships to youth, and these awards total more than $600,000.
This program is facilitated by BGCA volunteers, and no training is required for implementation.
Considerations for implementing this program include recruiting volunteer facilitators, obtaining participant buy-in, finding time and space to implement the program, and ensuring participants have the technological devices and internet access to use the digital components of the program.
